Ahead of House Speaker Paul Ryan’s visit to Montana this weekend, Denise Juneau issued an invitation to the House Speaker to discuss the divisiveness of this year’s campaign season and how the two can work together in Congress to put Montana first.
Juneau highlighted her experience of working with Montanans of all political stripes as the state’s superintendent of public schools.
“I’d like to take that same solution-oriented approach to work across the aisle in Congress. In that vein, I’d like to meet with you to discuss what matters to Montanans and how we can work together to fix it.”
Juneau also highlighted the need to move past the partisanship that has been crippling Congress over the past few years.
“With more people frustrated with Congressional dysfunction than ever before, I believe we need to leave behind this divisive rhetoric and come together to represent ALL Montanans and ALL Americans.”
